My friends are being really supportive by making me hook up with a friend that I have been texting for a long time. I met this friend, let's call her K, in chemistry class in sophomore year, and I do not know how it began but we started to talk with each other. We only had two classes with each other where we just talked or played the nintendo switch together. Well one day, I was absent since I was sick and missed a lesson in chemistry class, so when I came the next day I told her to send me the notes, but K did not have any social media(that I know of) so she gave me her phone number (I forgot how it went but I ended up getting her phone number). Back then, I was an annoying friend and just send her dumb memes that I found funny, but after a couple of weeks she was sending memes back, so it became a “tradition” to send memes to each other once a day. But when school started and we both went to college, I did not have enough time to send memes back, so I send them as soon as I can, which is like once every 5-7 days. Now, I mention all of this because my group of 4 friends was telling each other their life story, meaning what is their romantic moment that connects them to Purdue northwest. When it was my turn, this moment was the best that I could come up with, and they told me I was an idiot for not noticing this bond between us. I remember one time when there was a flood near us, and K texted if I was alright, and that was a nice moment because she was the only one who texted if I was fine, which I was. They told me to hang out with her to get to know her better, however she goes to Purdue in West Lafayette, so we could not hang out. I did remember she had a minecraft server, so I could play with her when I buy minecraft, so I just texted if she was still running. She says yeah, and I kind of plan to play with her. After all of that, they all told me that I am “emotionally blind” meaning I did not see that she likes me. One girl in my group, let's call her B, says that she will not text anyone longer than 3 years unless she is interested in them, and that is how long I was sending her memes, from May of 2019 and today in November 2021. I do not know what to think about this, so I hope for the best.

Weekly project

 The rational argument project is probably the hardest thing I did in this classroom. The first one was the documentary project which was easy since all you had to do was watch a documentary that was on the list, summarize it and give your option on what emotions it represents and analyze a core scene within the documentary. The second one if I remember correctly was the experimental project, it was honestly easy since I did two things and had some fun doing it with a group. The experimental project was just picking a non-profit organization and doing research on it and finding a reason to support it. But the rational argument is difficult compared to the rest of them since you need sources, one academic journal, has to be 4-7 pages long, and can not be one or two sided. To explain, there has to be no “yes or no “ side or a little debate, but a full blown debate where there are more than 3 sides to the story, and you have to fully explain why you chose that side to begin with. I honestly am having a hard time doing this project because I do not know what to write,(even though I have 2 pages done) I am going to ask Dr.Kyburz a lot of questions since I have no idea what I am doing.

Weekly Blog

I finally brought earbuds that I absolutely love. I waited for Black Friday since I know they will go on sale, and to do that I save a lot of money from work and worked more hours so I can get those earbuds. However, I found three earbuds that were the top dog, like these were the best earbuds in 2021 (as stated by a lot of people I did research on). Out of the three, I chose two to choose on,which are the Sony WF 1000xm4 earbuds, or the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds. Now, I am REALLY indecisive, meaning that I take way too long or not having an ability to make a decision, like I am really overwhelm with choices in every direction, and I have to choose one. I have no idea why, its just that my mind tends to go "what if you do not like it", or "that is a bad investment" and more thoughts. I really try my best to make a decision fast, but it is really hard for me. Took me a couple of weeks, but I decided to choose the Sony one, but after a couple of days I return them. The reason I return them is because they do not fit my ears, and even with the different size ear pieces it gives your, none of them fits me. So every 10 seconds, the one on my left ear will try to fall out and I had to push it back to my ear. After I return them, I decided to get my second choice, which was the Bose, and as stated before, I absolutely love them. Not only do they fit my ears, but they have amazing sound coming through them, and they are also noise cancelling (even though the Sony ones were too). I say I made an amazing investment this week!

Week of project

 This week was interesting since my group finally finished our project for English class. When we finished it, I thought to myself, " I feel like this isn't enough, but it looks good and has everything we need to complete it sooo, send." However, when the day arrived to present our projects, it was a giant curve ball since one of the groups ahead of us did A LOT of stuff in their presentation, and I was just sitting there like," aw crap" since I thought we did not put any effort into it, but we did. After those groups were finished, we were next, and we were off at a bad start. To explain, our links we put into the website required access since none of us did not change it, but only one member did so we started off with him. I volunteered to go back to my Chromebook and changed it so our presentation will be read, and then we took off. While I was doing this, Andrew had to stall to the audience to keep them interested if our non profit organization. After that, we presented, which pretty much took like 10 min while the other groups took like 20 min each, so we were pretty fast. Even though we may have bombed this project and barely put any pictures in it, it was pretty fun and had a blast doing it. I hope our project for next week will be as interesting, or even more interesting then this one.
